Explore a global research map

Give a research collection a geographic view. Choose what each location represents, connect it to the underlying evidence and make the scope easy to understand.

Choose what the map represents

Decide whether a point stands for a source, an organization or a region. Keep the underlying record accessible so that a reader can inspect the evidence behind the visualization.

Build an honest artifact

Use Artifact Studio to organize a reviewed dataset and label unknown locations. The reference globe is a visual pattern; it is not a map of GoCux servers, customers or live crawl infrastructure.

A practical starting point

Work from a project knowledge collection. These steps describe the GoCux workflow and its permission boundaries.

  1. Choose the project and add the documents you are entitled to use. Record the document title and origin so that a later reader can identify the source.
  2. Check ingestion before relying on search results. Test a distinctive phrase from the document and compare the retrieved excerpt with the original context.
  3. Use the retrieved material in a research question or conversation. Review the original passage before treating extracted text as a decision, and remove outdated material from the collection.

What to verify

The acceptance test is whether the correct project retrieves the right source passage. Another project must not gain access merely because it asks a similar question.
